All started with one swipe: On June 5th 2023 Carter sent a message to Isabelle on an App expressing his interest in her profile. Carter quickly asked for her number and wasted no time on making his first move to take her on a date.

Izzy couldn't shake the feeling that this could be either the start of something amazing or the plot of a true-crime podcast. So, naturally, she shared her location with her aunt Lori, just in case.

Carter, on the flip side, was feeling pumped and had thoughts about how he might be picking up his future wife.

Their chat was surprisingly easy, full of the usual banter but with a side of genuine interest. By the end of the night, as Carter dropped Izzy off, he felt like he was on cloud nine. But as he said, "If I see you again," Izzy flipped her head around, her eyes sparkling, and retorted, "IF?" That's when he knew he'd be asking her on another date.

June 19, 2023

After their epic first date, Izzy and Carter were both itching for round two. Izzy had this wild idea – line dancing. She figured, why not? It was fun and a surefire way to see if Carter was up for anything. So, she texted him, "Hey, wanna try something a little different for our next hangout?"

Carter's reply came quicker than a two-step beat, "Sure, sounds like a blast! When and where?"

As they arrived, Izzy couldn't help but feel a twinge of nervous excitement. What if Carter hated line dancing? What if he was secretly a terrible dancer?

But as soon as they stepped onto the dance floor, all her worries melted away. Carter had this easy grin plastered on his face as he pulled her into his arms, ready to tackle the dance floor like a pro.

Izzy couldn't believe her luck. Not only was Carter willing to give line dancing a shot, but he was also surprisingly good at it.

After that fateful line dancing date, Izzy and Carter became inseparable. They spent every moment they could together, exploring new places, trying new things, and falling deeper in love with each passing day. It didn't take long for them to introduce each other to their families, who embraced them with open arms.

In just a few short months, their bond had grown so strong that Carter knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Izzy. He spent countless hours planning the perfect proposal, wanting to make it a moment she would never forget.

March 22, 2024,

was a day that Izzy thought would be like any other. She was knee-deep in work during her busy season, with her friend Kaitlyn in town to keep her company. Little did she know, Kaitlyn was in on the big surprise, along with Carter and her family.

As they got ready to go out, Izzy was exhausted, but she pushed through for her friends. They decided to head to Rosies for a chill night, or so Izzy thought. Sara, another close friend, suggested they take a walk through the nearby rose garden in the rain.

Despite her fatigue, Izzy agreed, wanting to be a good sport for her friends. Little did she know, this walk was about to change her life forever.

As they strolled through the garden, Izzy noticed a figure standing in the rain, surrounded by twinkling lights. She was about to suggest they not interrupt, thinking someone was having a private moment.

But then she heard Carter's voice calling her name. Confusion turned to shock as she realized what was happening. Her heart pounded in her chest as she made her way to him, the raindrops falling around them like confetti.

Before she knew it, Carter was down on one knee, holding out a ring that sparkled even brighter than the raindrops. She was in a daze as he asked her to spend forever by his side.

As he slipped the ring onto her finger, Izzy's world exploded with joy. And then, from out of the bushes, her family and closest friends emerged, cheering and clapping and showering them with love.

Izzy's eyes filled with tears as she saw her mom, her brother, along with Carter's family. She laughed and cried and hugged them all, feeling a wave of happiness wash over her like never before.

It was a proposal she would never forget, filled with love, laughter, and the gentle patter of rain. And as she looked into Carter's eyes, she knew that this was just the beginning of their happily ever after.
