What is the attire?

Should we wear a specific color?

If you are able to, we invite you to wear black, dusty blue, light blue, light grey, dark grey, or a color that complements those such as emerald green, forest green, lilac, deep purple, and gold. Please do NOT wear Navy Blue. However, the most important thing is that you're there, so please don't feel obligated to wear one of the colors listed above.

Are children allowed?

We love that you have little ones. However, children are NOT invited and/or allowed at any wedding events including, but not limited to: Church, Reception, Brunch, or Rehearsal Dinner.

Where to fly into?

If you're flying, we recommend Providence (TF Green) over Boston Logan (Logan), as Providence is closer to New Bedford / Mattapoisett than Boston. However, both are approximately 45 - 60 minutes away, depending on traffic.

Non-Hotel Options:

While hotels are great, we also recommend staying in an AirB&B in Mattapoisett (Izzy's hometown), or Downtown New Bedford.

RVs:

The Gillises are equipped to handle up to 3 RVs with full hookups in their driveway. Contact Izzy for more info.

HOTELS:

We have reserved 25 rooms at the Hampton Inn in Fairhaven, MA for a rate of $139 per night (includes breakfast). Parking is free. They do have a shuttle that can provide transportation to and from the venue.

Please note that you can book between 6/6/24 and 11/6/24. You MUST book by 11/6/24 or the rooms will no longer be held at that rate.

Where to Park?

-Church parking lot during the reception

-We recommend parking at your hotel, and taking an Uber or Lyft to the Kilburn Mill

-The Kilburn Mill has ample parking if you wish to park at the wedding venue.

-New Bedford Street Parking at $0.75 per hour and free after 5pm

If you find a gift that you love not on our registry, and know we will love it too, we will graciously accept it.
