How do I RSVP?
Due to the nature of our destination wedding, we ask you to please notify us if you will be attending the wedding as soon as possible.
Keep in mind that an RVSP does not guarantee a reserved room at the resort. We recommend booking your room as soon as possible, as there is limited availability.
How do I book my room & is there a room block for wedding guests?
Yes, we do have a room block for our wedding guests! Information on how to book, the different room options and securing your room/dates can be found under the Travel and Accommodations tab.

What dates should I go?
The room block is reserved from Wednesday, June 11th to Sunday, June 15th. If you would like to arrive earlier, arrive later, leave sooner, or stay longer, you are welcome to do so! We do recommend that everyone arrives no later than Thursday, June 12th (the day before the wedding) in case of any travel delays. There is a 3-night minimum stay at this resort. Our Travel Agent would be happy to help you customize your trip.
Do I have to stay at the resort?
Dreams Las Mareas is a secluded tropical paradise which makes staying somewhere else limiting. We would prefer, and strongly encourage, that you do stay at the resort so we get to spend as much time with you throughout your trip as possible! If you plan to not stay at the resort, please let us know so we can coordinate your access to the resort for the wedding.
Is this an all-inclusive resort? What is included in my booking price?
Yes, the resort is all-inclusive! Limitless access to gourmet à la carte dining options (total of 8 restaurants and 8 bars), Unlimited international & domestic top-shelf spirits, Unlimited natural fruit juices and soft drinks, 24-hour room & concierge service, Pool and beach wait service, Daily refreshed mini-bar with soft drinks, juice, bottled water, etc., Daily maid service, Endless daytime activities and live nightly entertainment (e.g., snorkeling, kayaking, dance club), Theme parties, oceanfront bars and entertainment venues.
How do I take advantage of everything the hotel has to offer?
Please download the 'Hyatt Inclusive Collection' app on your phones from the App Store. Search for 'Dreams Las Mareas' when selecting a resort. You'll be able to see a resort map, order room service, look at restaurant menus, see the daily schedule of events, and even call for housekeeping.
What airport should I fly into?
Liberia Guanacaste Airport Costa Rica (LIR)
Do I need a passport?
Yes, you do need a passport. If you don't already have a passport, it is a good idea to apply early to be sure you receive it in time for your trip. If you already have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date. The expiration must be at least 6 months after your return date.
Do I need to exchange USD currency for local currency?
Definitely not! USD$ is gladly accepted for excursions and tips. They do recommend smaller bills, as $50 and $100 bills may not be accepted everywhere.
Will the ceremony and reception be held outside?
Yes, we are embracing the beauty of Costa Rica! All wedding day events will be held outside.
What is the day-of dress code?
Tropical Formal / Beach Chic.
Costa Rica is typically warm and humid, with highs in the 80s-90s and lows in the 70s-80s during the month of June. We recommend lightweight, breathable fabrics. Bright, tropical colors are highly encouraged. While our events won’t be directly on the beach, they will be on a grassy area, so chunky heels or wedges are a great choice over stilettos.
