It all started because two people swiped right!

Cody and Isabelle met online in February 2022. Cody says that Isabelle's smile was the first thing that he saw and knew he had to meet her. Although they had only been talking for a couple of hours, Cody miraculously convinced Isabelle to go on a date with him the very next night. Their first date was at a local sushi restaurant where Cody talked about his coding job and Isabelle went on and on about occupational therapy. Her passion and enthusiasm for helping people mesmerized Cody. Cody wowed Isabelle with his gentlemanly way and kind heartedness. They quickly began seeing each other more and more. On their third date Cody, FINALLY, kissed Isabelle. Luckily for Cody, Isabelle's lease ended four months later and not only did he gain Isabelle but also the best pup in the world, Bear. Cody knew he made the right decision when he learned how well Isabelle can cook.

Fast forward after many board game nights with Cody and the boys, Cody's family accidentally giving Isabelle too much alcohol her first time meeting them, and many KC Chiefs games where Isabelle got the nickname Twinsie by Cody's dad for wearing the same Patrick Mahomes Jersey as him, Cody popped the question on January 14th, 2023 and she said YES!....and cried a lot. Since then Isabelle and Cody have made it through three months apart when Isabelle had to be in Kansas for a fieldwork assignment and many long nights where Cody played World of Warcraft with the boys, but they have managed to become stronger than ever. Isabelle and Cody are ecstatic to celebrate this happy occasion with everyone and look forward to a lifetime of adventures as Mr. and (Dr.) Mrs. Roe!
