Transportation and Accommodations
You will need a passport to travel internationally. Please make sure your passport is up to date. If not, renew it at least four months prior to travel.
Expected to start in 2024, U.S. citizens will need ETIAS travel authorization to get into the European Union. For details on how to apply (you cannot yet, as it's not in operation) and other information, visit this website.
Transportation
There are several options for transportation. Keep in mind, for those staying at Domus Laeta, that check-in is at 2PM on June 1st. Check-out is at 11AM on June 5th.
Below are a few travel recommendations for you. Typically, flights into Rome are cheaper than flying into Naples. Because of this, we have included transportation details for those who are flying into Rome. While the Naples airport is only an hour a half away from the venue, flights there tend to be hundreds of dollars more.
We highly recommend renting a car in Naples and driving to the venue. Transportation options near the villa are limited (and expensive) in this small town, particularly if you wish to explore the area during your stay. There is plenty of free, public parking in the area for you to park your rental car.
There is, however, train/bus routes that will drop you off at the center of Giungano, just a few blocks from Domus Laeta. For those routes, visit this website.
Landing in Rome
If you choose to fly into Rome, you can take a train to the Paestum train station. These train tickets usually only cost $40 for a roundtrip. From there, Paestum, Italy is only a 17-minute drive to our venue. If you go with this option, you can book a car service or call a taxi. Do not depend on ridesharing services such as Uber, as they are largely only available in Rome and Milan.
You can also choose to take a train from Rome into Naples. From there, you can book a car service or rent a car for more flexibility during your stay.

If you decide to fly into Naples, you can book a train ticket from Naples into the Paestum train station, a 17-minute drive from the venue. From there, you can book a car service or call a taxi. Accommodation Recommendations
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate everyone at Domus Laeta. After the RSVP deadline passes, we will be able to finalize the list of people who will be staying at the villa. Everyone will be notified by November 25th if they will be staying in the villa. This makes your timely RSVP critical for not just your own accommodations, but for others’ as well. Please do not book any accommodations before this date, as we may be able to provide other housing options.
