What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30 PM. In addition, our officiant, Kyle, will begin welcoming guests and making some announcements at promptly 2:20 P.M. Therefore, guests should arrive at a reasonable time in order to begin proceeding to their seat/the ceremony area by 2:15 P.M. to hear the announcements!
When will the reception end? Will there be an after party?
The send off is scheduled to occur at 7:30 P.M. with the ceremony ending at approximately 7:30. No, there is no after party scheduled.
Will there be a rehearsal/welcome party?
The Bride and Groom will be hosting a rehearsal brunch, however, due to the wedding being local, only select members of the wedding party are able to attend the rehearsal brunch.
Am I allowed a plus one?
Plus ones are only allowed if they have been specified on your invitation, as the Bride and Groom are keeping their wedding small, with only family and close friends invited. If you would like to bring a plus one or have any questions or concerns, please reach out directly to the Bride and/or Groom. We apologize if this is an inconvenience and we appreciate everyone's understanding and cooperation with this matter.
Are children invited?
Children are only allowed if they have been specified on your invitation, as the Bride and Groom are keeping their wedding small, with only family and close friends invited. If you have any questions or concerns in regards to this, please reach out to the Bride and/or Groom directly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this matter.
Is the ceremony an unplugged ceremony?
No, the ceremony is not an unplugged ceremony and you are allowed to take pictures during the ceremony if you choose to do so. However, please be mindful and respectful of our photographers, Dez and Emmi, who will be working extremely hard to capture this special moment with the Bride and Groom. In addition, throughout the ceremony, it would be greatly appreciated if all guests would keep their phones on silent and be mindful/respectful when it comes to scrolling, texting, and/or answering phone calls during the ceremony.
What are the colors of the Bridal/Groom's Party?
The Bridal Party will be wearing dark emerald green. The Groom will be wearing a black suit, and the Groomsmen and the Officiant will be wearing a sharkskin gray colored suit, with a dark emerald green tie.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The plan is for the ceremony to be held outside and the reception to then be indoors. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to indoors.
Will there be a Bouquet and/or Garter Toss?
There will not be a bouquet toss, however the Bride and Groom are planning on doing a garter toss!
Can I bring my gift to the wedding?
Your presence at our wedding is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to the wedding, there will be a gift/card table for your convenience.
When is the RSVP deadline?
The RSVP deadline for the wedding is August 9th, 2025. The RSVP deadline for the bridal shower for those select guests who have been invited is May 30th, 2025.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! An open bar will be available during cocktail hour, as well as during the reception from approximately 4:45-6:45. A cash bar will then be available from about 6:45-7:30.
Do I need to order my meal before the day of the wedding?
Nope! Staff at the Kimberton Inn will take your order the day of the wedding during the reception.
What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?
During cocktail hour, guests have the opportunity to be served beer, wine, and various liquors from a full bar. Hors d'oeurves will be served during cocktail hour. A champagne toast will then occur at the start of the reception. During dinner, beer and wine will be available. When it comes to food, guests will have four options to choose from: Grilled Seven Ounce Center-Cut Filet Mignon, Hazelnut Crusted Chicken Breast, Seared Scottish Salmon Fillet, or Seared Sea Scallops. Dinner will be served with bread and butter, potatoes, and vegetables. Cake will be served for dessert.
