Christian and Isabelle met at Concordia University Chicago. Christian first noticed Isabelle in the CUC cafeteria and followed her on Instagram later that day. Nothing ever came of it until 2 years later when Isabelle reached out to Christian. They had always known of each other due to athletics but never took the chance to talk. Isabelle approached Christian on St. Patrick's Day in 2022 at Doc Ryans. They talked the rest of the night until closing time. This is where their love story began...

Christian had been planning for months to propose in the same city they met. Due to Christian living in Phoenix, a significant amount of planning went into his proposal. He knew he wanted someone to capture the moment. He contacted close to 15 photographers, desperate to find someone worthy of the job! Christian told Isabelle they were taking pictures at North Avenue Beach in Chicago because it was one of the last times they would be together in the city.
On October 22nd, 2023 Christian asked Isabelle to spend the rest of her life with him! The photographer captured this beautiful moment with the entire skyline behind them, and the rest is history.
