Caleb and Isabelle met mid-September, 2020 while working at Texas Roadhouse. Caleb was Isabelle’s server trainer on her last day of training, they immediately clicked. That night Caleb followed Isabelle on all of her social media platforms. A couple days later, Isabelle messaged Caleb asking if he would want to go out to a bar together because she had just moved to St George and didn’t have any friends or know any of the cool spots to hangout. While a little reluctant at first, Caleb ended up asking if they could go out to dinner instead.
They went on their first date on September 29, 2020 at Cafe Sabor. After a couple hours of laughing and talking, they both knew they didn’t want the night to be over. Caleb asked Isabelle if she would want to come over to his best friend’s house to hangout for a bit. Obviously, she said yes! So they went over to Dylan’s house where they played some games and then snuggled up to watch a movie, and shared their first kiss.
After that, they spent almost all the free time they had, with each other. Isabelle quickly moved in with Caleb since she was living with her parents at the time. Fast forward to September 2022, Caleb and Isabelle move into their first house with no roommates.
By November 2022, Isabelle convinced Caleb it was time to get a dog! On the 28th they went to meet this cute golden retriever Isabelle found on facebook. Despite Caleb insisting that they were “just meeting her”, they ended up bringing home their sweet Bentley Mae. In July 2023, Caleb and Isabelle were starting to get serious about an engagement and even went ring shopping. But about 10 days after looking at rings, Isabelle got her first positive pregnancy test! On March 31, 2024 they welcomed their perfect little girl, Adaline Leanne.
On Caleb’s 30th birthday, the whole family went for a beautiful hike in Leeds, UT. As they were turning around to head back to the car Caleb stopped and told Isabelle, “for the last couple months you have been asking what I wanted for my birthday. Well, I decided all that I want is to spend forever with you. Will you marry me?” With tears running down her face she said yes! As they walked to their car Isabelle kept saying “I can’t believe this is finally happening”
After almost 4 1/2 years and a crazy journey, Caleb and Isabelle are beyond thrilled to be taking this next step in their lives. They cannot wait to be husband and wife and spend the rest of their days loving each other and growing together.
