#### Chapter 1: Serendipity in February

It was a chilly February evening in 2020 when I first met Rebecca. The world was still blissfully unaware of the looming pandemic, and life thrived in its usual bustle. And then, WE MET ON FACEBOOK. It didn't take long before we struck up a conversation, starting with comments on various Facebook posts, then seamlessly transitioning into discussions about our works, family and friends, and very importantly theology. We lost track of time, wrapped up in each other's stories and laughter.

#### Chapter 2: Blossoming Romance and Navigating the Pandemic

The days that followed were filled with excitement and anticipation. We began calling regularly, as we were by distance, separated. Thanks to the internet and its ability to connect us via video Calls. Then the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The world went into lockdown, and everything came to a standstill, but as it were, we kept rolling. In a way, the pandemic tested our relationship, but it also made it stronger.

As winter gave way to spring, and spring to summer, our bond grew stronger. Breaching Covid-19 travel restrictions, I couldn’t help but travel over 300 Miles to Gashua. The world outside was changing, but within our bubble, it was just us and the blossoming romance.

#### Chapter 3: Resilience, Building Our Future and Enduring Struggles

The pandemic had changed the world, but our love had remained a constant, a beacon of hope in uncertain times. We cherished every moment together. The experiences of the past months and hopes for the future gave us a new appreciation for life and love. We continued to support each other through the highs and lows, finding strength in our shared resilience.

Our relationship flourished. Every day was a new adventure, whether it was finding out about how we spent our day, to debating current theological issues, disagreeing and agreeing on subjects, to discussing books we read and what not.

We began to plan for our future. We talked about our dreams, our goals, and the life we wanted to build together. The months that followed were filled with challenges. Both I and Rebecca faced varying struggles and anxiety, and the longing to be together. There were moments of frustrations and doubts, but through it all, we remained each other’s source of strength. Our love became a beacon of hope, a reminder that even in the darkest times, there was something beautiful to hold onto. Life’s trials/ups and downs taught us the importance of cherishing the present while also looking forward to the future with optimism and hope. Blessed riddance! Now Bliss!! All Bliss!!!

#### Chapter 4: Celebrating Love

Now, in 2024, we look back at our journey with gratitude to God and wonder. Our love story, which began on a chance encounter on Facebook, has weathered the storms of a global pandemic and emerged stronger than ever. We've grown individually, learning to navigate life's challenges hand in hand.

We celebrate our love every day, in small and big ways. Every moment is a testament to God’s Grace and the bond we share.

Rebecca and I continue to write our story, one filled with love, resilience, and endless possibilities. And as we look to the future, we do so with hearts full of hope and an unwavering commitment to each other. Trusting and earnestly holding, or rather been held as it were by God
