What started as an interview for the Marketing Manager position at Tamarack turned into a instant friendship when Mitch walked into the lodge and met Isla working behind the front desk. Isla invited Mitch to live music at the resort that night, which was way less interesting than the conversation had together about Mitch's recent travels in his RV around the West Coast

Mitch + Isla bonded at Tuesday Night Trivia at Tamarack! Mitch only recently admitted that he didn't know many of the answers, he just came to see Isla.

After a bucket of margaritas and hours of singing and playing old 70's rock covers, Mitch finally told Isla how he felt about her. We both knew there was something special between us!

Mitch + Isla spent the majority of the early days of their relationship hiking and morel hunting. We would go out every chance we got! Rodney loved searching too, and eating what we cooked with them!

Mitch took Rodney + Isla on our first camping trip in Ol' Minnie Winnie!

We got our sweet Lucy! (She is really a Niners fan, but Mitch won't admit it)

When you know, you know! Mitch + Rodney plotted a grand scheme to take Isla "morel hunting". At 7,500' and overlooking the beautiful Idaho mountains that we call home, Mitch proposed to Isla! Even though he tricked her into thinking he found a morel, she still said yes. The best part is that Rodney was in on it and able to keep this a secret!

Family, Food, and Football! Mitch + Isla can agree on almost everything, except for which team is #1 in the NFL. If you ask Rodney, he says both the Niners and the Packers. Our happy place is Sundays on the couch watching football and eating 7 Layer Bean dip and wings!
