We are planning 4 nights at the resort - January 15th to 19th. We appreciate so much if you can make it to our special day at all, and we completely understand that some people may not be able to make it early. But if you can, we will be gathering at the resort from the 15th!

The booking page is available now under the Travel tab on our website! If you want to stay at the same resort as us, use the booking page to ensure you get our group rate! Our travel coordinator can help you book your room and make any upgrades you like. She will also arrange transportation from Cancun airport when you fly in! You are also welcome to book somewhere else separately if you prefer. But keep in mind: 1. It will be easier to get together outside of the wedding if you stay at the same resort with us! :) 2. Since the resort is an all inclusive, if you are staying outside, you won't be able to come into the hotel to hang out easily.

As soon as possible! We will need to release any unneeded rooms from our room block at Barcelo Maya on July 10, so in order to guarantee the rate and that you will be able to get a room at the resort with us, please book through our booking page (linked from the Travel tab) as soon as possible. (You don't have to pay in full yet, just a deposit.) If you will not be staying at Barcelo Maya with us, please let us know by July 10, so we know to release your room.

We have blocked a certain number of rooms and suites estimating what we thought most people would want. The majority are the most affordable room option and we've also blocked a few suites and junior suites. This was just our best guess, so more could be available than what we blocked. If you would like a room that is no longer available on the booking page or to upgrade to a different room that we haven't blocked, you can email our travel coordinator, Miriam (contact info on Travel page) and she will help you! You are also welcome to message us directly and let us know what room you want and we can see about adjusting our room block (but going directly through Miriam might be faster!).

Yes! Barcelo Maya Resort is actually multiple resorts on one property. The suites on our room block are all at Barcelo Maya Colonial or Tropical and the Superior rooms are throughout the resort complex, but if you want a specific room at a particular branch of the resort (Barcelo Maya Beach, for example.), you can contact our travel coordinator to help you book a room outside of our room block, or you can book separately if you prefer. You will still be able to come to meet up with us at Barcelo Maya Colonial (but be aware, depending what room you book, others may not be able to come to your part of the resort).

Babies and toddlers up to age 2 are welcome to come to the wedding! We are not having any children over the age of 3 at the ceremony or reception except for family. But the resort we have chosen is family friendly and offers background-checked babysitting! We would have loved to invite all the kids to the wedding, but the numbers just got too high and we wouldn't have been able to invite all of our loved ones. We'd love to see your kids during the wedding week though!
