Our Wedding

Isleen and Henrique first met while working at the National Institutes of Health during their postbac internship. They bonded over their love of craft beer, comic books, and trying different restaurants. They even ran a Tough Mudder together.

June 2014

Isleen was accepted and attended dental school in Pittsburgh, PA while Henrique attended medical school in Philadelphia, PA. To see each other, they took a 6 hour Greyhound bus on free weekends.

2015-2019

After graduating, they could finally live together! The couple moved to Wilmington, DE briefly while Isleen worked in a dental practice in Pennsylvania and Henrique started his family medicine residency in Delaware.

2019

Isleen and Henrique now live in Pennsylvania where they plan to stay for the near future. They live together with their two dressed up cats Yvie and Bo Peep.

2020 - Present

Isleen and Henrique vacationed to Oahu, Hawaii, where Henrique proposed on the Makapu'u Lighthouse Trail.

The PHL airport is located about 30 minutes south of downtown Philadelphia and the wedding venue. There is a SEPTA train called the Airport line that runs every 30 minutes to and from the airport.
