How the couple met:

Ivan and Mariana met at church. Ivan recalls the first time they ever met was right outside of church, as their friends introduced them. That was the beginning of a beautiful friendship…. For the first couple of years the couple maintained a platonic friendship. Mariana was actually first friends with his sister, Karen. They would be closer together the more they would serve at church and hang out with their group of friends. Slowly but steady they each began to catch feelings for one another. Ivan would refer to Mariana as his girlfriend to his family, she just did not know it. The chemistry they had would be very noticeable. The church members and people close to them would point it out, but they were both too timid to admit it to one another. On December 18th, 2022, he officially confessed his feelings to her, and Mariana expressed she felt the same way. Ever since that day, the couple began praying for God to confirm their relationship and for His will to be done in their lives. To this day, the couple can attest that God has been faithful,and by His grace, they have been able to build a strong foundation centered in Christ. On November 12, 2024, the couple got engaged. And now they can’t wait to celebrate with you this special moment in their lives.

Cómo se conoció la pareja:

Iván y Mariana se conocieron en la iglesia. Iván recuerda que la primera vez que se conocieron fue justo afuera de la iglesia, cuando sus amigos los presentaron. Ese fue el comienzo de una hermosa amistad... Durante el primer par de años, la pareja mantuvo una amistad platónica. En realidad, Mariana primero fue amiga de su hermana, Karen. Conforme más servían en la iglesia y salían con su grupo de amigos, su amistad continuó creciendo. Y sus sentimientos comenzaron a florecer. Ivan se refería a Mariana como su novia cuando hablaba de ella con su familia, nada más que ella aún no lo sabía. La química que tenían era muy notable. Los miembros de la iglesia y las personas cercanas a ellos siempre lo notaban y comentaban, pero ambos eran demasiado tímidos para admitirlo el uno al otro. El 18 de diciembre de 2022, Iván le confesó oficialmente sus sentimientos, y Mariana expresó que sentía lo mismo. Desde ese momento, dispusieron sus corazones en oración para que Dios confirmara su relación y para que su voluntad se cumpliera en sus vidas. Hasta el día de hoy, la pareja puede dar testimonio de que Dios ha sido fiel, y por su gracia han establecido una base sólida centrada en Cristo. El 12 de noviembre de 2024, la pareja se comprometió. Ahora están muy felices y entusiasmados para celebrar con ustedes este momento tan especial de sus vidas.
