Arrive in Sarajevo, Then Travel to Doboj

We recommend flying into Sarajevo on either Monday, May 11, or Tuesday, May 12.

Once you have purchased your tickets, please notify Ivana and Steve of your arrival and departure dates and times to Sarajevo using the Guest Google Form so that we can arrange your transportation to Doboj through Ivana’s family.

Hotel Park Doboj will be the most accomodating for our English-speaking friends; however, there are plenty of apartments for rent around Gradski Park if you prefer. Booking.com is your best option for lodging.

We have planned the following events to showcase the beautiful Bosnian mountains and countryside and introduce you to local culture.

Drive in 2-3 big vans from Doboj in the morning with the bridal party and family into the Ozren mountains. Rakija (Rah-key-ya) - Balkan fruit brandy - will be flowing throughout the excursion.

We'll visit the idyllic bungalows at Ranc Turmarcić, stroll over to Ivana and Steve's proposal site next to the Spasić Home, take a village walk to Ivana’s Tata's (Dad) friend’s plum groves, and visit the Ekocentar for beehives, herbal medicine, and honey rakija.

Evening: Hang out in Doboj

We'll eat delicious Bosnian street food - burek (meat pita), krompirusa (potato pita), sirnica (cheese pita), and cevapi.

During the Day: While Ivana and Steve take care of final check-ins for the big day, you can explore Doboj. Walk the gorgeous city center park, grab a kafa (coffee) or pivo (beer) at a beautiful street-side cafe, or visit the Regional Museum of Doboj.

5:30: Ceremony at Gradina (Doboj Fortress)

7:00: Reception at Prestige Doboj

Noon: Drive to Ivana's Tetka (Aunt) Gordana’s House in Zepce for a garden party. Transportation will be provided.

Join us on the Croatian coast, if you dare.

We invite the Bridal party to stay for a few days at the sea in Split and experience the Dalmatian fjaka lifestyle. We'll leave early Sunday. We plan to split a villa with anybody who would like to join, or you can find your own cozy spot along the sea.
