Ivon and Jorge met in high school Ivon was in 9th grade and Jorge was in 12th grade. Jorge was Ivon’s student assistant in her Biology class, they were aquatinted only by class. After Jorge graduated from high school they never really talked. It was not until Jorges cousin’s 15th birthday party that Jorge and Ivon saw each other again. After the rehearsals and the night of the party they didn’t speak or see each other again. “They say 3rd time is a charm” It was till a Christmas parade that Jorge was encouraged to ask Ivon for her number and decided to go after what he wanted. After dating for a few weeks Jorge asked Ivon to be his girlfriend and a young and excited relationship started. They learned and grew to be a part of each other for years. Then after 8 years of a high school sweetheart’s relationship. Jorge was then again encouraged to ask Ivon to marry him in front of family and friends. Jorge and Ivon tide the knot with an elopement a year after being engaged. Now we come together to celebrate 10 years of their relationship and many more to come by them renewing their vowels in front of family and friends. It is time we see and celebrate alongside with them on a marriage that will continue to grow and learn for Ivon and Jorge’s future as the new Vargas-Jeronimo family.
