One night in October, Eve came back from a long California road trip and just wanted to get something to eat and go home. Her friends said they were taking her to Chinatown, but somehow ended up on crossing the bridge to the eastside.

They get there and a girl catches his eye, so he goes outside to introduce himself. She said she was mad at her friends for tricking her to into hanging out tonight, but is now amazed at how beautiful the stars looked that night.

One night in October, Chris and Eve go on their first date. A night at the pier at Anthony's and the Ferris wheel. They hit it off and hang out frequently after that, but Eve is playing hard to get. Chris is persistent however, and eventually wins her over when he takes a day off work to take Eve to see her favorite poet.

One night in October, Chris and Eve are in Maui celebrating their one year anniversary. They talk about how they'd like to start a family, not really concerned about doing things in order.

One night in October, Eve is 6 months pregnant with their son Ronin in Indonesia. They are getting ready to be married in the Toraja tradition. The ceremony is colorful and beautiful, and a great celebration of their love.
