Christian & Ivy

Christian and Ivy met in December of 2022 at TIGER Academy of Martial Arts. Christian had attended the school since the age of 15 where he earned his black belt and was now an instructor. Ivy had been working as a front desk administrator at the YMCA for the past 3 years and was hired by TIGER as their new receptionist for their Suffolk location. Actually...they were never formally introduced to each other. They saw each other on Ivy's first day at Portsmouth and that was it. They talked to each other for the first time on Ivy's first day in Suffolk. With Christian asking, "What's your name?" when he answered the phone from the program director, who was calling to see if Ivy had made it to work. For the next several months they quietly worked next to each with very little interaction. Then by about mid February is when they grew more comfortable around one another. On Tuesdays and Thursdays is when they had about three hours to themselves, where they got to know each other a lot more. They would have fun by joking around and doing weapon training as well. By the time March rolled around both of them realized that they had feelings for one another, but neither knew how to let the other know. Finally on March 17th, Christian (after a great deal of drama and aggravation) asked Ivy out. On their first date they went on a hiking trail, book store, and went out for lunch. After 9 months of dating, Christian asked Ivy to marry him on December 27th. Obviously she said yes : )
