Colton and I met at a Fourth of July get-together in Louisburg, NC back in 2018.

As a high school senior, I wrestled with the thought for days about attending this party. It was far away, I only knew one person there, and I was convinced I'd get kidnapped (literally). Eventually, I went with my friend, praying I'd survive the night. Little did I know, I'd leave with a new contact on my phone—my future husband.

I still remember getting home and seeing a Snapchat from Colton. He was checking to make sure I got home okay. My first thought was, "Is this how a nice guy acts?" because my experience with "good" men was pretty much non-existent.

Colton wasted no time and asked me out on a date the very next day. I was hesitant, given my experiences with boys. But I could tell this was a man, and this man would treat me right.

After a couple of tries on his part, I finally agreed to a date. We were both incredibly nervous, but we had a great time, and the rest is history!

Colton never saw himself getting married. I always knew I'd get married, but I never imagined I'd find such a well-rounded, loving, attentive, and supportive man.

God blessed us both, and we are incredibly ready to spend the rest of our lives together. We hope you'll help us celebrate this exciting time in our lives.
