Our Wedding

We first met sophomore year of high school in English class (we actually sat next to each other for a quarter!). We continued to have other classes together in junior and senior year such as SAT prep and study hall.

How We Met

We were also in the schools travel club and spent 17 days in the summer of 2018 traveling around Ireland, Scotland, England, and France. By chance, our groups were placed on the same coach and we spent the majority of the trip laughing, sightseeing, and making memories.Fun Fact - Our very first photo together was taken right in front of the Eiffel Tower!

Early Adventures

Back home, our first official date was at Bruster's where we ordered banana splits!

Our First Date

Fast forward to August 2024 in Juneau, Alaska, Evan (finally) popped the question after 6 years of dating! The moment was absolutely perfect as Evan got down on one knee in front of the Mendenhall Glacier and Nugget Falls and Bella said "yes!"

The Proposal

We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with all of you who have been part of story. From high school sweethearts to travel partners to soon-to-be husband and wife, we can't wait for this next chapter surrounded by friends and family

Known Evan: 6+ years, we first met junior year of high school in our SAT prep class and sat in the same group.
Favorite Memory: Slow dancing with Evan at our friends' wedding a couple years ago. Since we rarely dance, it felt like such a special and intimate moment to share and it made me so excited because I knew he was going to be my forever wedding date. Not long after, they called for the bouquet toss and Evan encouraged me to join in. I went up, not expecting to catch it and holding a drink in my right hand, and when the bouquet was thrown it came right to me and I caught it with my left hand! When Evan saw me holding it he ran for the hills!
Fun Fact: In 2018, while I was away at a soccer game, Evan and a friend saran wrapped my car. After getting dropped off at school by the bus at 10pm, I had to unroll two rolls of saran wrap off of my car.

Izabella Otteni

Known Bella: Bella says that we met junior year of high school, but we actually met sophomore year. She just didn't get the hots for me until junior year.
Favorite Memory: When Bella was yelling at me to stop the truck as we were leaving the campsite between Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks. Confused, I stopped the truck and look over to her pointing at the road as two bull moose pop out of the pines just 20 feet in front of us as the sun was rising over the mountains.
Fun Fact: Bella actually like and encourages me to grow a mullet during the colder months. So don't hate me, blame her!

Evan Stadler

Known Bella: My whole life, I'm her younger sister!
Favorite Memory: When we moved to our house in Fairview. None of us really wanted to move there, but when we arrived something changed. I don't remember the exact moment, but that's when I started to feel closest to my sister. We began going places together, having sister sleepovers, and gossiping in Bella's room. Before then, we weren't really close but I'm so grateful that we were able to come around and share the bond we have today.
Fun Fact: I love running and have completed one half marathon so far!

Sophie Otteni

Known Evan: 20+ years, we became close when I started dating his sister Cheyanne.
Favorite Memory: Our trip to Columbus for a USWNT game. It was the first USA soccer match for both of us!
Fun Fact: By the time of the wedding, I'll be a proud father of two and still finding time to play plenty of soccer.

Zachary Peters

Known Bella: 20+ years, our families had mutual friends and we ended up attending the same high school.
Favorite Memory: Going on an Alaskan cruise together where we got to create many memories and witness Evan proposing to Bella in Juneau.
Fun Fact: I've been married for over 2 years and have a Rottweiler named Moose.

Hannah Carroll-Thurlow

Known Evan: 17 years
Favorite Memory: Loving his sister with my whole heart from the moment I met her and him originally hating the idea and then eventually him accepting me as a brother. 
Fun Fact: I’m an alcoholic gambler who's currently on a hot streak if any single ladies want to come to the casino with me wink wink;)

Eli Wilfong

Known Bella: 3 years, we both started our first job after college at the same place
Favorite Memory: Bella telling me she was engaged! She surprised me with the news first thing in the morning. We definitely caused a scene in the office but it was justified!
Fun Fact: In my free time, I sing in the Erie Philharmonic Chorus, read, bake, and spoil my puppy, Willow!

Nina DiPlacido

Known Evan: Since Kindergarten when we both went to Edison Elementary
Favorite Memory: Sneaking into Presque Isle with Evan and Eli. Eli was driving his car, Evan was in his, and I was hanging out of Eli's car door reaching for Evan's hand while yelling, "I'll never let go, Jack!".
Fun Fact: I'm Evan's only Romanian friend. Since we were young, we have gotten into some pretty interesting situations but making for great memories!

Jonathan Pop

Known Evan: 5 years
Favorite Memory: Cole's tavern...and watching Evan shoot and miss his first archery deer.
Fun Fact: I am restoring a pickup truck to use as a daily driver
