After connecting via Hinge, Danny asked Izzy to join him at the Lincoln Social Rooftop for a first date. Izzy accepted the invitation :)

Izzy and Danny shared time together at Dueciento, a local Columbus bar. Two days later, Danny contracted Covid, and five days afterward, Izzy also fell ill. They sought comfort in each other's company during their recovery, leading to a deepening of their connection.

Danny and Izzy bring home their first pet Pluto, a vibrant blue parakeet. Captivated by the bird's social personality, their home now resonates with the delightful chirps and playful antics of Pluto, adding joy to the couple's journey.

Izzy & Danny have a passion for DIY projects and spent many hours renovating Izzy's condo. Izzy's creative design background matched with Danny's engineering background and handy capabilities makes them the perfect DIY duo. They enjoy the quality time spent together working on each project, and always have one or two planned to work on next!

Danny asked Izzy to marry him during a date night to the Columbus Museum of Art. Both of their families and many friends travelled to Columbus to celebrate their engagement. The weekend included a meal at one of their favorite restaurants (Marcella's) and a celebration at Izzy's newly renovated condo.
