Bruce and I met in the most romantic of ways - in anatomy lab! Bruce joined our lab group to make up lost work. After lab, my group and I usually went to Ihop for breakfast. I missed my chance to ask Bruce to join us for food, but he had already left. As fate would have it, we ran into him on our way over, and I asked him to join us. He said yes. After breakfast, I couldn’t muster the courage to ask him to study with me. As he walked away, I let my fears best me. Fate intervened yet again, and I saw him eating dinner as I left my favorite restaurant just next door. I knew I couldn’t let this chance pass me by, and I asked him to study with me. He said yes.&nbsp; We have been together ever since, and the rest, as they say, is history. Now, 7 years later, I said yes!&nbsp;

World, meet Alejandra! She was 90% of the reason why I passed PA school - from reminding me that homework was due at 8 pm and not 8 am, making sure I was actually studying on my hammock and not napping, getting fat on Mexican food with me, to making breakfast from scratch for me. Best of all, she trusted me on an "Izzy-planned", i.e. mostly unplanned, scattered, food based, trip to Spain!

Ari Weber...the one person Bruce would push Izzy aside for LOL. From all nighters studying and chatting to early morning meals at Lou's, Bruce's knight in shining armor...who saves the day when Izzy is bothering Bruce too much. Literally Bruce will hang up the phone with Izzy just to talk to Ari....sigh LOL. Somehow these two kept in touch for over a decade, even while Ari was abroad in Japan....that is quite a feat!

From helping me with my physics homework to letting me crash on an air mattress in your too-small-for-two-people dorm, I am sooo sooo sooo incredibly grateful that you will be with me as I walk down the aisle.

Only one of the coolest dudes ever! Johnny has supported us from the start, and loves our stuffed animals 😂. He is the best brother anyone could have asked for, and has welcomed Bruce into the family with open arms. He is probably the most adventurous person I know, and a total social butterfly. From exploring Seattle to hiking in Zion National Park, from turbo pushing my wheelchair after I sprained my ankle to stuffing our faces at Caesar Palace buffet (BEST BUFFET EVER...still have dreams about this place), from letting my brother third wheel to being a mediator of the silliest arguments with my brother, Jessica has made life fun and full of laughter.
