While there's no strict dress code, we encourage our guests to embrace the elegance of the occasion with cocktail attire. Think chic and sophisticated, but most importantly, feel comfortable to dance the night away.

We kindly ask that you leave your cameras and phones tucked away during our ceremony. We're thrilled to have a professional photographer and videographer capturing every magical moment, ensuring that you can fully immerse yourself in the joy of our special day without any distractions. Your presence means the world to us, and having you fully present in the moment is the greatest gift of all.

We understand that for many of you, your little ones are an integral part of your lives, and we adore them just as much as you do. However, in order to ensure that all our guests can relax and enjoy themselves to the fullest, we have made the decision to host an adults-only wedding.

Yes! We've done our best to provide options to cater to everyone's needs. Stay tuned for an email closer to the wedding date to indicate your meal selection. To ensure we accommodate your dietary requirements perfectly, please kindly note them in your RSVP. Following dinner, dessert, along with coffee & tea will be served.

Due to venue capacity constraints, we are unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those specifically invited.

For your ease, we've reserved a block of rooms at the Old Orchard Inn & Spa, as well as the Evangeline Hotel for the night of our wedding. More information can be found on our Travel & Accommodations page. Feel free to explore other nearby hotels, bed and breakfasts, and Airbnb's to suit your preferences.

Yes! We want to make sure that all of our guests arrive at their accommodations safely after a night of celebrating. Transportation from Lightfoot will be provided by Woods Limousine beginning at 10:30pm until 12:30am. We will be providing a shuttle service to bring guests from Lightfoot Vineyards to both The Old Orchard Inn and the Evangeline Hotel. The service is free for guests to use. If you are choosing to stay at other accommodations, please be advised that taxis are hard to come by in the Valley and Uber doesn't operate in that vicinity.

We understand the importance of ensuring everyone gets home safely after celebrating with us. You're more than welcome to leave your cars at the venue overnight. Our priority is your safety and enjoyment throughout the festivities. So, feel free to dance the night away without worrying about transportation. We will be providing transportation to selected hotels for your added convenience throughout the night. Please see the Travel page for more details on this!

We're delighted to say that our venue is fully wheelchair accessible. If you have any specific questions or requirements regarding accessibility, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

While our hearts are set on an outdoor ceremony surrounded by the views of Cape Blomidon, we're also keeping an eye on the skies. In the event of rain or other conditions that call for an indoor affair, we'll seamlessly transition our festivities indoors.

Following our ceremony and cocktail hour, we invite you to raise a glass with us during a three-hour open bar at our evening reception. Please indicate on your RSVP if you are interested in the Open Bar package. Please drink responsibly. Lightfoot & Wolfville holds the right to refuse service.

Celebrate with us until the clock strikes midnight! While the bar will close at midnight, we kindly ask our guests bid us farewell and depart from the venue by 12:30 a.m.

While we're incredibly grateful for any gesture, your presence is what truly matters to us. However, if you'd like to contribute, we have set up a wedding registry through Amazon should you like to purchase a gift. We're also saving towards a home to begin our married life together, so if monetary gifts are more your style, know it will be going to good use.
