Come admire the 300′ sandstone rock formations against the backdrop of snow-capped Pikes Peak and brilliant blue skies. It's free admission. You can drive or find a quick hike through the park.
You can drive, take the cog railway, or if you are really ambitious you can hike up to 14,115'! (We recommend hiking via Crags, not the Barr Trail)
Check this out for a challenging a rewarding hike. In less than a mile you gain over 2,000' in elevation. The climb includes 2,750 railroad ties. Once used to get access to the cog railway for maintenance/mining. Its a doozy, so get acclimated !
