On a sunny afternoon on the 8th of September 2018 in Rotterdam, our story unfolded through a blind date, where two life paths intersected and merged into one unforgettable journey.

Our first encounter, our first date was filled with hours (10 hours!) of endless conversations and as the night fell, we embraced the magic of the World Port Day’s (De Wereldhavendagen), where the fireworks adorned the sky and illuminated our hearts with a promise of adventure.

But it wasn’t until later, in the quiet twists of fate, that we discovered our paths had long been intertwined. When we really look back on it, we are always’s just a step from each other. It turned out that the bonds of friendships between our families had been woven long before that enchanting September day. Jack’s mother who illuminated our path, turned out to be a close friend of Heleen’s beloved grandmother. On top of that Jack's mother had attempted to play cupid by showing him a photo of Heleen and encouraging a connection. A discovery that made us smile at the wonders of God, at the way He brought us together!

Since that first day we met we are inseparable and the rest, as they say, is history!
