Best airport for travel

Although our venue will be about 40 minutes north of Salt Lake City, the most convenient airport for out of towners will be the SLC Int. Airport.

Salt Lake City International Airport

For our out of towners, we recommend renting a car (or Turo) from the airport to use throughout the weekend. With it being winter weather, consider an AWD vehicle!

Rental Car

For smaller groups, we recommend the Alaskan Inn, a cozy bed and breakfast located just 15 minutes from our venue. We’ll be providing shuttle service to and from the inn, making it an easy and convenient option for our guests (see the “Day of Details” section for shuttle times). A 20% discount is available when you call to book and mention the Dahlquist Wedding—the discount applies once five or more rooms are reserved.

Alaskan Inn and Spa

Mountain Luxury Lodging offers spacious cabins just 10 minutes from our venue—perfect for groups of friends or family who want to stay together with a little extra room and comfort. We’ll be providing shuttle service to and from the inn, making it an easy and convenient option for our guests (see the “Day of Details” section for shuttle times). A 10% discount is available when three or more lodges are reserved under our wedding block. For guests who don’t mind a drive, the Hilton Garden Inn Ogden is another option. While we don’t have a discount or shuttle service for this hotel, it’s a great choice for anyone looking to use points or stay in the city.

Visit the city for great food (Pearl, Red Iguana, Contento, Koyote, BTG), great drinks (TF Brewing, Fisher, Hopkins, Level Crossing) or more great skiing (Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude) up and down Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon.
