Whether it’s your first time riding on dirt, or you’re a downhill wizard, the Mammoth Bike Park delivers the ultimate high-alpine riding experience for everyone. With 80+ miles of singletrack offering plenty of pavers, berms, jumps and drops, as well as our beginner-friendly Discovery Zone, there’s two-wheeled fun for all at the country’s premier lift-served bike park.

Fishing

With access to an abundance of high alpine lakes, reservoirs, streams and creeks, Mammoth Lakes offers some of the best trout fishing in the world. Monster rainbows, wise old browns, feisty brookies and elusive native golden trout—whether you prefer bait-setting from a folding chair on a sunny beach with a view, trolling from a boat, nymphing from a float-tube in the middle of a quiet pond or casting barbless midges from a grassy bank on a quiet oxbow, you’ll find plenty of places to try your hand at outsmarting a fish—or several!

Hiking

The Mammoth Lakes Trail System offers boundless recreation opportunities on more than 300 miles of trails. From granite crags to trout-stocked lakes, pine forests to alpine meadows, there’s something for all seasons, interests and abilities, motorized and non-motorized alike. For an easy lake hike, we recommend hiking Crystal Lake an easy 3.2 mile hike. For a more challenging, but rewarding hike, try the 10.1 mile Duck Pass and Pika Lake trail.
