Why Spain?
Spain is the first place we traveled together and have been back many times since. We love the food, wine, history and architecture in the south. Andalusia is a very special place with many happy memories for us as a couple and we are so excited to share it with you!
I want to come to the wedding! Where do I start?
Great! You can start by making your travel plans as soon as possible. Choose an accommodation that is right for you, there are many hotel and airbnb options available in a range of price points. You may want to consider booking an extra day before and after October 3-6, 2025 so that you can have time to relax and recover on either side of your journey. You also need to book your airfare to Spain; the nearest airports are just an hour away in Jerez and Gibraltar and the airports of Seville and Málaga are each about 2 hours away. You will need to rent a car or inquire about an airport transfer with your hotel, which they sometimes assist with. Don't forget to RSVP as soon as possible and let us know of your travel details. See you in Spain!
How do I RSVP?
Just click the RSVP link on the homepage. Letting us know your response as early as possible is very helpful. Thank you!
Are children invited to the wedding?
All of the wedding festivities are adults only, but if you are bringing children to Spain with you, please let us know so we can help you arrange childcare.
What should I wear?
For welcome drinks and tapas we recommend something a little slinky, beachy and glamorous.
A nice pair of trousers with an open collared shirt for the guys, jackets optional.
Ladies, we will be on sand so plan shoes accordingly.
The wedding day dress code is formal attire: think European summer. Dress to impress. Jacket required, tie optional. The varied terrain of the wedding day includes pebbles, grass and stone so ladies please consider a block heel. Bridesmaids will be in blush.
The pool party BBQ is resort chic; sundresses, caftans for the ladies and shorts and button downs for the guys; bring your swimsuit! Towels will be provided.
Have you blocked off hotel rooms?
No, we have not. Do not wait to book your accommodation. It is a popular destination and rooms book up quickly. Vejer de la Frontera has many beautiful places to stay and we encourage you to search for the perfect place for you to enjoy your weekend. The hotels we recommended on the 'Where to Stay' page are just a few of our favorites that are located in the center of town and therefore have convenient access to wedding transportation.
Will I need a car to get around?
Having a rental car will give you the most flexibility, especially if you are planning to extend your stay in Spain. There will be transportation provided to and from the wedding if you are staying in Vejer de la Frontera. There are also rideshare apps, such as Cabify, available. If you decide to not rent a car, Vejer is a small walkable village with everything you need. You will however, have to arrange for transport to and from the airport.
What will the weather be like?
It is still warm and sunny in Andalusia in early October. Keep an eye on the forecast as the date draws near, but you can probably count on temps in the high 80's.
What is there to do in Vejer?
