Jack and I went to the same church for a while, but our paths hadn’t really crossed until one night when I was serving in the junior high group and he was involved with College group. He was sent over to help move some heavy things in the junior high room, and that’s when he noticed me. Curious, he asked a mutual friend if I was single, and she immediately replied, “Shaylee is so single.”

That same friend asked if she could give Jack my number, and I was absolutely over the moon that the mysterious, cute cowboy wanted to reach out. Not long after, we went on our first date, and by our second date we both knew without saying it yet that this was the beginning of something special.
