When should I RSVP by?
We would kindly ask you to RSVP as soon as you know will be joining our wedding celebrations. With that being said, we understand a holiday to South Africa will taken some thought and planning so if we can have RVSPs returned by no later than the 1st of January 2025. When should I book my flights?
International flights will become available to book from September 2024. We would recommend UK guest to shopping around on Skyscanner to compare flight prices and timings. As flight prices tend to increase closer to departure date, we always try to book our flights as soon as possible!
What will the weather be like in September?
You're in luck, September is quoted as the best month to travel to South Africa! Expect temperature high's of 28 degree's and lows of 10 degree's. If you plan to travel north to Kruger National Park, expect higher temperatures! If you plan to visit Cape Town, temperature's could be cooler with a slightly higher chance of rain!
Are children welcome to the wedding celebrations?
Absolutely, we would love to celebrate our wedding day with all your babies and children!
What activities are available at Lunikhy Game Reserve?
We have exclusively hired Lunikhy for wedding weekend and the venue has encouraged us to make the most of the game reserve! You are welcome to bring your binoculars for game spotting, likewise for any avid runners the reserve is safe to run within as the Buffalo are kept fenced in a kraal. Finally, bring your swimming costumes! There are swimming pools scatted around the reserve for anyone wanting a refreshing dip!

What happens if you can't make all the wedding events?
One day of celebrating with our nearest and dearest is not nearly enough! To maximise our time together, we have scheduled several wedding events however we understand if you cannot make every event, we just ask that you RSVP accordingly. Don't worry if you have plans exploring the country or need to rest after travelling, we completely understand and will see you at the wedding ceremony!

What is Loadshedding?
Loadshedding is a phrase you might hear or see when planning your holiday to South Africa. Put simply, loadshedding is scheduled power outages organised by the national electricity supplier, ESKOM. These outages will last on average for 2 to 4 hours, however many businesses and private residence now have back-up generators or solar power to mitigate loadshedding.
