We met in the fall of 2020, and our first date was a perfect mix of fun and laid-back, starting with a few rounds of bowling followed by a dinner at El Nopal (our favorite). Since then, we’ve shared countless adventures together, from exploring the mountains of Asheville and Gatlinburg to taking in the sights of Washington DC and soaking up the sun in the Dominican Republic. Our favorite dates have included mid-day walks around the zoo, attending sports games, and trying new restaurants. Along the way, we decided to take the next big step by moving in together and welcoming our dog, Ollie, into our lives. The journey culminated in a magical moment when we got engaged at Red River Gorge, surrounded by our closest family, marking the beginning of our next chapter.
