Q + A

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm. Please arrive between 4:30pm-4:45pm to give yourself plenty of time to park and be seated!

What is the attire?

Although we do not have a specific dress code, we are going for a "summer chic" vibe. The wedding will be outside at a Pool Club. Bright colors and floral prints are encouraged! For the women, think sundress (maxi, midi or short) or a jumpsuit. For the men, think dress slacks and a collared shirt or a suit if you are feeling fancy! Please no shorts or jeans. Make sure that you wear comfy shoes that you can dance the night away in! For outfit inspo, copy and paste the link below into your search bar: https://pin.it/PEUWpcPzV

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Seven Oaks. The address is 2500 Howard Road Raleigh, NC 27613. You'll notice this is not a traditional wedding venue (hellooo giant water slide, diving boards and swimming pool). This is actually the first wedding to be hosted here! While the pools are enticing, it will not be a swimming party. Also, please note that no glass is allowed in the venue.

What is the significance of the wedding venue?

We wanted a space large enough that could accommodate all of our family and friends. We prefer a more casual, laid-back setting. This venue allows us to bring in our own vendors and create a magical day reflective of who we are!

Is there parking at the venue?

There is plenty of parking at the venue. If you choose to drive, you will have the option to leave your car overnight. Your car will need to be moved by 8:30am the next morning. Ubers are quick and easy to get in the Raleigh area if you decide to go that route. We want you to be able to enjoy the evening with a few cocktails if you choose, so please do not drink and drive!

Can I bring my children?

As the wedding will be poolside, we feel like the temptation of the pool will be too much for young children. While we love the little ones and would love to celebrate with them, we want to keep everyone safe. If you are traveling from out of town, we are happy to help arrange childcare if needed.
