Our Wedding

Jack and Britt’s love story began on Hinge, where a like turned into a relationship. Their first date at 750 Cucina Rustica (Jack paid, Britt offered) in October 2024 would become the start to a beautiful relationship. Brittany, being her stubborn self, made Jack ask her to be his girlfriend 18 times before she finally agreed— though she secretly wanted to say yes the very first time. Bonding over their love for good music, lazy Sundays on the couch, and their shared love for family and friends, especially her dog, Finny, who quickly became the third wheel in their relationship. A year and a half later, they can't imagine life without each other, and their love has only grown stronger, with Finn, the goodest boy in the world, always by their side.

*UPDATED 01/05/2025*Wednesday, March 25th-8:00pm Engaged couple lands in Kona Friday, March 27th-6:00pm Rehearsal Dinner at Kona Country Club(for family and wedding party). Saturday, March 28th-9:00am Golf Outing at the Kona Golf Club (wedding party and family)-4:30pm Wedding Ceremony at Outrigger Resort on the Bayside Lawn. Seating begins at 4pm (feel free to bring a drink, we'll have water available).-5-5:30pm, break to freshen up, grab a drink, smoke a cigar, take in the view.-5:30pm-8:30pm Reception begins in the Helani Gardens.-8:30pm and onwards- Party moves to the resort, come find the newlyweds to congratulate them! Sunday, March 29th - Family and Friend Fun Day-The couple will be around to chat and catch up throughout the day.-Brunch to be planned, more concrete details to come.-Plans to be made, subject to party size. Joey and Jack go back a long ways and have enough stories to keep you entertained for the entire weekend, Joey's parents Barb & Ken always treated Jack as one of their own. In fact  they would let Joey out on a little more leash if they were together!

Fun Fact: Joey is 5'5" tall

Joey Littel

Ashlyn and Brittany met on Vikettes at Fremd and by the time Ashlyn graduated they were inseperable. They've bonded over a love of long drives with the windows down, scary movies, binge watching shows and Ashlyn's blueberry lemon loaf. 

Fun Fact: Ashlyn is a pro at remastering songs, if you ask she'll sing you one of her renditions.

Jack and Jack go together like Jack and Jack, fun but trouble, volleyball, football, road trips, they've gone a few places and have done a lot

Do not follow Jack if you plan to go skiing as he has a propensity to aim for rocks

Fun Fact: Jack was a child actor, you might recognize him from the music video for the song Patrick by June

Jack Butler

Nicole and Brittany met at Central Road Elementary School where their love of Avril Lavgine and soccer brought them together. Even when Nicole moved to Kentucky, they spent many breaks and summers together! They have been friends for over 20 years! 

Fun Fact: Nicole loves bazooka bubble gum, ask her to sing you the theme song.

Tommy is Jacks younger brother and is claimed by Jack to be the funniest person alive.

Tommy is often found at the Great American Ballpark enjoying, the reds, playing with his daughter and wife at home, or peeing in the bushes with his dog Rip.

Fun Fact: Tommy was the fastest member of his highschool golf team

Tommy Wegener

Michael and Brittany met at Fremd but became close after leaving high school. Together they spent many forgetable nights in Wrigleyville and binge watching the latest scary movie series. 

Fun Fact: Michael can name all of the countries who have won Eurovision. 

Michael McGinn 

Jimmy is Jacks youngest brother and has spent more time traveling the world than the rest of the family combined!

Fun Fact: Jimmy is an expert in identifying Toxicodendron vernix from native plants species, also known as poison sumac 

Jimmy Wegener

Stevie is Brittany's cousin! They have always been close, helping each other host family events and making Thanksgiving dinners. Stevie and Brittany even share the love of Teaching. 

Fun Fact: Stevie knows every word to High School Musical 3, 

Stevie Stroka 

If you see the best dressed man in Hawaii, it's not Robert it's his Grandpa Andy, but if you see the second Best dressed man in Hawaii that's Jacks younger brother Robert!

Roberts fine taste and Jacks inability to feel full has always brought them together from diner to restaurants and so on, that tradition will continue in Hawaii

Fun Fact: Robert is an expert in dinosaurs, ask him anything about dinosaurs and he will have an answer!

Robert Olsen

Brittany and Grace met at Bradley, where they ended up rooming together. They spent a lot of that year going on frequent ice cream runs and talking until all hours of the night. Now they spend most of their hang out baking way too many cookies and laughing till they can't breathe. 

Fun Fact: Grace knows how to help get 1lb of pickles on a plane. 

Grace Hensold 

Jack and Kole met at SIU in the year of 2011, they had many a fun nights partying till the sunrise under Carbondales beautiful skyline.

Work brought Kole to the American Southwest and unfortunately far from the suburbs of Chicago and Bloomington, despite this Kole and Jack have maintained a strong friendship that Jack couldn't put a price on

Fun Fact: Kole creates music ! He specializes in 1700s Russian Folk Accordion 🪗

Kole Paxton

Julianne is Brittany's cousin. She is a built in best friend because she and Brittany share a birthday. They have gone to many concerts together and created many Thanksgiving dinners. 

Fun Fact: Julianne loves blindfolded taste tests. 

Julianne Stroka

Cassidy is Brittany's Cousin! The oldest of the girl cousins, Brittany and Cassidy spent a lot of their childhoods having sleepovers and causing trouble. 

Fun Fact: Cassidy is an expert in Romanian vampire history.
