Ruth and Rinnah enjoyed spending time together. Rinnah introduced Ruth to cocktails that she made herself. She taught Ruth how to play Zelda more effectively by making Link run. She has so many nieces and nephews that Ruth cannot even keep count! Rinnah is also interested in horticulture.

Jack's older brother (the one holding beer and baby). They have been playing games together for decades, whether it's Super Smash Bros, Pickleball, or Chess. They both make sure that Jimmy's children are never too confident in their gaming abilities.

Ruth's younger sister is a cool gal, born and raised in Exeter, United Kingdom. She likes to drink lychee tea with regular boba. They watched horror films together, with Ruth using pillows to shield herself during the scary parts.

Jack and George met through RUF at UAB. They have wasted countless hours together playing board games and computer games, with Jack spending countless more hours to get the games to work on George's computer. George is a high school teacher, and he says his especially nerdy students remind him of Jack.

Ruth and Maggie met at Created Equal, where Maggie works as a media coordinator. Maggie impressed Ruth with her kindness, laughter, singing, and beautiful red hair! She also makes beautiful postcards.

Jack met Devin through RUF at UAB. Devin introduced Jack to the horror that is Banana Phone, but he made up for it by also introducing the staple food of Louisiana, Voodoo Chips. They also have a shared fondness for the board game Galaxy Truckers.

Ruth met Christina in Moscow, Idaho. They were walking buddies who commiserated about coursework during their weekly long walks around Moscow Mountain. They both like Augustine and Vergil. Christina's gentleness reminds Ruth of how God's own love feels—a place called home.

Jack met Michael at RUF at UAB. They have a shared interest in Reformed Theology, fantasy worlds, being big dorks, and tabletop games, especially the card game Dominion. Michael is a deacon at Briarwood Presbyterian Church, where the PCA was formed.

Island and Ruth became friends nearly 10 years ago at a youth camp organized by the Early Rain Church when they were 17 ish. They took lots of walks together, discussing the possibility of staying single for the rest of their lives. They are sisters in Christ. Island is also a coffee snob and brews really good coffee, so good that even Ruth—who prefers sparkling water over everything else—would ask her for a latte.

Jack and Robert have been friends since Elementary School, and their families have been lifelong friends. They graduated from high school together, spending a lot of free time playing Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, and Ping Pong. Robert is also responsible for getting Jack hooked on Irish Folk Music.

Anna (the one with red hair) is Jack's favorite niece. That did not factor in any way towards the decision to have her be the flower girl, nor did the fact that her father is the best man. She earned it on her own merits.

Albert is an able-bodied young man born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He and Ruth attend the same church, and he always greets her with a big, bright smile, often bearing crackers in his hands. Ruth is thankful to have Albert as her friend and bearer of the ring!
