Jackie and Connor met in October of 2021 at the infamous Richmond bar, Sticky Rice, and hit it off immediately. As time went on, Jackie and Connor grew to know each other and realized they had so much in common. From kayaking on the James River to exploring all of the food Richmond has to offer, there was no question that they always enjoyed each other's company.

Jackie met Connor's entire family (yes, including aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) early on at Thanksgiving at Nana's. It was then that Jackie realized how much she loved being around such a big family. Connor met Jackie's mom, Joan, on one of the coldest days of the year. Jackie and Connor went bird watching with Joan and some "birder" friends, then had lunch together.

In November of 2022, Jackie had her second knee surgery. Joan and Connor both selflessly helped her as she recovered. It was at this time, after spending hours on end together, that Jackie and Connor realized that they could truly see a life together. Fast forward to March 3, 2024 - Connor asked Jackie to spend the rest of her life with him. Cheers to a lifetime of love!
