No, children are not allowed at the wedding. We'd like to give the parents a night off! Additionally, due to cost and the venue being at a winery, we are not inviting anyone under 21.

We would like our guests to dress in semi-formal/cocktail attire. No need for long gowns and tuxedos!

The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting), so we suggest you wear some sunscreen and bring your sunglasses if your eyes are sensitive to the sun. Women, be aware that the ceremony is on the grass. Keep that in mind when picking out your shoes (or get those things that go on the heel so they don't sink in the grass).

There is a parking lot at the winery for anyone who would like to drive. We are also planning on providing a bus to and from the hotel so our guests won't drink and drive.

I know a few of you have allergies. All the food will be cooked on site. Please make a note when you RSVP of your allergy or email us at JackieKoreyWedding@gmail.com so we can give the caterer a heads up. But you can also remind the caterers day-of so they are sure to cook YOUR food to avoid your allergies.

I know our venue is a little out of the way, so it may be easier for some of you to share rooms or vehicles while in town. Unfortunately, I can't put up a discussion board on the website, but please just email us at jackiekoreywedding@gmail.com. If we get multiple requests, we can connect you!

We decided to use an audio guest book for a wedding, so we can listen to all your well wishes whenever we'd like! You can leave us a voicemail (draft a speech for us! we'd love to hear it!) at ‪(929) 548-3284‬ OR use our device at the actual wedding! All your messages can be downloaded as MP3s, so we can enjoy them for a long time!

The Hotel bar at the Hilton Garden Inn will stay open for us after the wedding to continue socializing.

It's a bit of a trek, but you can take the Metro-North from Grand Central to New Haven (about $19 one way), and then the Amtrak Northeast Regional to Boston. The ride from Grand Central to Mystic is about 3 hours and 15 minutes. Metro-North runs about every hour to get to New Haven There is an Amtrak at 8:44am and at 11:47am. It's about an hour ride. $24 for coach seats. From there, you can spend a little time in Mystic Village, which is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. You would have to Uber to the hotel. But we'll have transportation from the hotel to the wedding.
