Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) is the closest airport to Cashiers, about a one hour and ten minute drive.

If you are flying in, we strongly encourage you to rent a car, as Ubers and taxis are unavailable in the Cashiers area. We will be providing shuttle transportation for the wedding day!

We encourage our guests to book their stay sooner rather than later! October is a very popular time of year for tourism in the Cashiers area and hotels fill up quickly.

Historically, the weather in Cashiers, NC in October tends to be warmer during the day, usually in the 60s or 70s, and then dips into cooler weather in the evening, sometimes dropping as low as the 30s and 40s. We encourage our guests to bring shawls for the wedding day in preparation for cooler weather.

Shuttles will be available on October 18th from the following hotels: The Wells Hotel, The Hampton Inn and Suites, and Hotel Cashiers.

Yes, we kindly ask our guests to silence and store their phones throughout the ceremony. We will have professional photographers and videographers capturing our ceremony.

Ingles American Owned is the local grocery store, where you can find any necessities during your stay. They even have a Starbucks!
