As a day guest, what time should I arrive? The ceremony on Saturday begins as 10am. Arrive early enough to park and walk over to the ceremony site. Coffee and tea will be available under the tent prior to the ceremony, so feel free to come early, get something warm to drink, and have a stroll around the property.
As a day guest, how long should I plan to stay? You are invited to stay all day! See the Day Guests tab for a schedule of the day's events. You may want to bring a comfortable change of clothes for the unstructured midday break and layers for the evening.
Where should I park? You may park your car in the large field that will have signs for parking. As a weekend guest, parking is also available at or near your accommodation. Please pay attention to one-way signs as many cars will be navigating the narrow roads.
As a weekend guest, how do I know if I have a place to stay at Mountain Springs Cabins? If you RSVP'd that you would like to stay onsite with us, then you have a bed in one of the cabins, tiny homes, or yurts at Mountain Springs Cabins! If you don't remember which box you checked on the RSVP card, feel free to reach out to us to confirm.
As a weekend guest, how do I check-in? Go to the front office and check in by telling the office worker your name. The first member of your party to check in will be given an envelope with your key, a map, and other information about staying at Mountain Springs Cabins.
What if it is raining? We are pretty rain tolerant and plan to get married outside, or under a tent only if needed. We have an event tent for meals and in case of heavy rain. We recommend that you bring appropriate layers for the very likely possibility of rain at some point across the weekend.
As a weekend guest, what food should I bring on my own? Meals will be provided Friday dinner, Saturday brunch (11am), Saturday Dinner, and Sunday breakfast. You might consider bringing your own food for a light Saturday breakfast. If you are someone who has specific dietary needs and don’t think you’ll have what you need, bring a little extra of what you know works for your body as a back-up.
As a weekend guest, what should I expect of my accommodations? You will be staying in a cabin, yurt, or tiny home that provides sheets, towels, and basic toiletries. Many of the accommodations are open-floor plans, meaning that you will likely be sharing spaces with other family or friends that you know. Please bring cash to tip the housekeepers!
Are kids invited? Yes!
Are dogs allowed? Please leave your furry friends at home.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony? No. Please silence your cell phones and keep them away for the entirety of the ceremony to be present along with us. We have a great photographer and will share photos later. You are welcome to take photos at other points across the weekend and we would love for you to share them with us by dropping them in the Jackie and Evan Wedding Photos folder: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zUu2MT7WhPrbUcCf3V0rXOFoLzrxxqvc?usp=sharing
