Our Wedding

To say Tyler and I are surprised we met on Tinder would be an understatement ;) Tyler and I went on our first date on July 30th, 2022. We went to Oak &amp; Steel for a couple drinks then walked over to Up-Down to play arcade games. After only just one date we both knew we met someone special. We spent our second date doing karaoke until I fell and broke my ankle singing Bohemian Rhapsody. I could tell he was keeper when he spent all night and morning with me in the ER. I’m proud to say the ER told me it was a sports injury! While my ankle was healing from surgery, our dates consisted of hanging out in my mom’s basement, driving me around to restaurant’s with my scooter in his trunk, and avoiding anywhere with stairs. Now with a perfectly healed ankle we enjoy going to happy hours, concerts, cooking dinner, going on walks, playing Dutch Blitz, and hanging out with friends and family. Our free time looks a little different nowadays though since we bought our first home together in June 2024; we are constantly doing little home projects to make it our own. We are excited to spend our lives together and have all of you apart of our journey, especially apart of our special day!

Ali is Jackie's cousin, but grew up like sisters, especially since their mother's are identical twins (they are actually triplets). Jackie was able to stand next to Ali on her big day and is so excited they get to do it again!

Drew, Joel, and Tyler met at their fraternity their freshman year at K-State; they have practically been his brothers ever since. They love a good vacation and have almost been on a trip once a year together. We get together regularly for sports games, happy hours, or the occasional concert.

Emily and Jackie have been friends since their sophomore year of high school! Their humor, love for live music and loyalty has kept their bond strong over the past sixteen years.

Kolton and Tyler have been friends since elementary school. They played soccer together growing up until high school and ended up a bike ride away as kids. They don’t live as close as they used to, but whenever they can they watch sports or play golf together.

Caleb and Jackie have been friends since middle school! Caleb moved from Kansas City after high school, so they don't get to see each other often, but when they do it's like no time has passed.

Jeff and Tyler have been friends since middle school. Jeff lived four houses down in the neighborhood, so sleepovers and all nighters were a regular thing. When we get together it’s all about video games and having a relaxing time.

Jackie has been Kaleena's Big through Big Brothers Big Sister since 2012! Even after Kaleena moved to Oklahoma in 2017 Jackie maintained their relationship by taking road trips to visit her.

Dyllan and Tyler have been friends since middle school. Now they golf and grab some drinks together as much as they can with their busy schedules.

Reese is Jackie's goddaughter and will be the flower girl and her brother's, Eli and Lane, are the ring bearers; these are Ali's (matron of honor) children.

25 person shuttle busses (one bus at each pick-up) will be provided from the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel at the Convention Center located at 6100 College Blvd (not the Courtyard Hotel) to the venue and then from the reception back to the Sheraton Hotel. There will be two pick-ups at the hotel to the venue; one at 3:00pm and the second at 3:30pm; we are recommending all family members get on the 3:00pm shuttle. There will be three pick-ups from the reception back to the Sheraton Hotel at the following times: 9:00pm, 10:00pm, and 11:00pm with reception ending at 11:00pm.
