Flight Information

If you are travelling from Montreal, Air Canada has direct flights to Providenciales on Thursdays. Direct flight duration is about 3.5 hours.

*Traveller tip: depending on the amount of flights arriving at the same time, the line to get through security can be timely. You can book a fastpass to skip the longer line at a fee by following this link. We only recommend using this service for arrival not for departure.

Where to stay

The best area to stay to be in the ‘action’ is Grace Bay so you can walk to restos, shops and Grace Bay beach. Leeward Settlement is also a beautiful area, more quiet/residential.

For hotels, we recommend Island Club Turks (large condo suites with full kitchen), 5 minute walk to the beach. Amenities: laundry in unit, pool +hot tub, free bike rental spacious rooms suitable for group stays.

Other hotels: Ocean Club West & Ocean Club East, Sibonne, Royal West Indies

Areas for airbnb: Nice neighbourhoods to look into AirBNB options would be Grace Bay & Leeward Settlement (very quiet & Leeward beach is beautiful). Here is a list we compiled of great Airbnb options. Some of these options have good cancellation policies if you want to book early!

Transportation

We personally opt to rent a car when visiting for any trips that aren’t walkable. We recommend booking with Sixt because you can pick up and drop off the car directly at the airport. Other options: rentabuddy.tc

Driving Info

Because Turks and Caicos is a British Territory, driving is on the opposite side of the road. Roads have roundabouts and the driving wheel is located on the right side of the car! Luckily the island is not often busy so driving is mostly following the car ahead of you and going slow.

Currency

Strangely enough despite Turks being a British territory it uses USD currency. Keep this is mind when booking for travel as prices may be listed in USD
