Jackson and Kendra met at Brock University during their first year in residence. They were introduced to each other through a mutual friend, and now bridesmaid, Drew Spinnewyn. Kendra and Jackson shared many of the same classes, where Kendra's main focus was always Jackson. So much so, that she seemed to miss out on most of the content being taught! This allowed Kendra to strategically request "one-on-one tutoring" sessions from Jackson later on.

The many tutoring sessions turned into dates at the school cafeteria, as they both had their meal plan cards (Kendra often stealing Jackson's). They eventually could not spend time apart. Their love flourished as Kendra introduced Jackson to her family life in her hometown, Ottawa.

Kendra and Jackson focused on their studies for a while, rekindled their love for each other, and moved in together shortly after, for their fifth and final year of school.

Kendra and Jackson worked together to finish school and start saving for a house.

The couple celebrated as Jackson completed his Bachelors in Accounting and Masters of Accountancy. Kendra alongside him as his biggest supporter.

Kendra graduated Niagara College with her Advanced Diploma in Business Administration and began her career in Finance.

In the fall of 2022, Jackson and Kendra moved to Ottawa together. Spending their time living with Brendan and Buckley while continuing to save for their house.

In late October, with the help of family, friends, and supervisor Buckley, the move went well!

Where Jackson got on one knee and officially proposed to Kendra! Their relationship had come a really long way, and they had mastered working as a team. Jackson confessed his love for Kendra, and she was over the moon about spending the rest of their lives together.

After settling into their home, newly engaged, Jackson and Kendra decided to bring home their new puppy baby Reese.
