Syerra and Jackson met in 2022 when they were Sophomores in College. They both were shuffled into Foxtrot Company where they began talking as dorm neighbors. Syerra and Jackson talked when Syerra went to annual training in Germany with the Virginia National Guard. Shortly after she came back, they started dating. They dated for 2 plus years before Jackson got on one knee December 30th, 2024.
