The beginning-

Our love story began when we met during our college journey in October 2022. We both had friends in Brookings SD where we would hang out together on the weekends. Jackson was instantly head-over-heels for me. Our love for the gym and working out brought us closer together. It didn't take him very long to steal my heart. Our love for each other has continued to grow every day.

The proposal-

The proposal took place on December 8th, 2023. At that time, I was so busy studying for finals that any clues went right over my head. We had made plans a month or so ahead of time to take anniversary pics at Falls Park in Sioux Falls, SD. At this time of the year, the park is decorated with several Christmas lights. Little did I know, anniversary pics would turn into a night to remember. I had left school in Vermillion, SD and rushed home to make my hair appointment on time. The appointment went way over time and Jackson was texting me nonstop asking me when I was going to be done. Little did I know, my family and his were planning on heading to Sioux Falls to surprise me for dinner after the proposal. Jackson almost postponed the engagement due to being late and not knowing if he could change the reservation time. He was able to change the reservation time at the Brazilian Grill so plans would still work out. When we got to Falls Park, Kaden German met us there to take the photos. After a few pics, Jackson mentioned to me that we should go take pics under a light-up arch. Underneath the arch, he popped the question!! I was so shocked and happy all at once. After I said yes, we headed to the Brazilian Grill thinking that it was going to be him and I eating supper together. We walked in and all of our family was sitting around a table waiting for us. That special day is one I will never forget.

Jackson and I wouldn't be where we are today without the love and support of our family and friends. We appreciate every single one of you. June 14th, 2025 can't come soon enough!! We are looking forward to celebrating with all of you.
