Our story began a long time ago. We have known each other since kindergarden through CCD at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. *see if you can find us in this picture :)

We went from CCD classmates to school classmates in 2017 when Anna transfered to St. Paul. One day when Anna was gone from school, she reached out to Jackson to ask what they did in Algebra II. That was the spark that started it all.

After the spark was igniting, we were able to deepen our friendship through an amazing group of friends. We, as a group, spent lots of time swimming, watching movies, and cheering each other on in sports.

January 1st is when we officially began dating. We got to experience many school functions together. Prom was one of the highlights. But dancing our butts off at our wedding is going to be 1000x better!

One of the crazy expereinces we went through together was the COVID-19 lock down. This should have been our high school graduation day.

However, we actually graduated a month later!

And, got to have senior prom in July!

We started our freshman year of college in the fall of 2020. Jackson attended Doane university on a football scholarship. Anna was 30 miles away at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln studying math education.

Our collegicate years were spend watching/playing lots of football, whether that be Doane, Nebraska, or just college football on TV.

Jackson and Anna have a shared love of the outdoors. If they have free time, they can almost always be found outside. Whether that be fishing and hunting, playing golf and pickleball, or sitting around a camp fire with a group of friends and family.

Senior year of college came way to fast and not fast enough at the same time for both Jackson and Anna.

Jackson graduated from Doane Univerity with a degree in Environmental Sciences and Natural Resources. He now works for the Nebraska Game and Parks as a biologist. Anna graduated with distinction from UNL with a degree in math education. She returned to SPHS where she teaches geometry and algebra II.

We quickly transitioned from football into the softball scene. We can be found in the summer traveling the midwest to slowpitch softball tournaments.

6 years later, Anna's dream came true. She got to see her favorite person down on one knee- a scene she had been dreaming about since junior year. We had plans to go to eat at Erickson with a group a friends. On the way up there, the boys said they were hoping to go icefishing at Pibel lake, and wanted to check out the ice. Anna, totally believing it, didnt think anything of it. When she turned around, there he was, asking her to marry him. Best Day Ever! So Far! Until March 7th!
