We first met in November 2022 during our freshman year at JCCC in Overland Park, Kansas. Both Jacksyn and Megan played soccer for the college. Our very first interaction happened in the athletic training room. Megan was helping out the busy trainers by removing cupping therapy equipment from Jacksyn’s legs. Not long after, one of Jacksyn’s friends shared his contact information with Megan, and that’s when we started talking.

As winter break approached, Megan had a busy schedule and was pulled in several directions, which delayed our first date. But when the time finally came, we were both so excited to meet up and talk in person. Our first date was at City Barrel in Kansas City, Missouri and it couldn’t have been sweeter.

Soon after, we went to his high school friend’s New Year’s Eve party, where Jacksyn was eager to ask megan to be his girlfriend. Fast forward to today, we enjoy playing pickleball, golf, and soccer together, as well as watching each other play and cheering on Major League Soccer. Most importantly, we love growing together in our faith.

After 2 years, 3 months, and 11 days of dating, Jacksyn got down on one knee on the sands of Venice Beach, Florida, and asked Megan to marry him on March 11th, 2025.
