Our story began where it continues to grow. The heart of it all - Rockville Centre, New York. On a rainy Sunday in May 2019, Chris met up with Jacky for the first time after several exchanges on an on-line dating app. What started over a glass of wine in a cozy wine bar has grown into a beautiful friendship and love story.. and plenty more glasses of adult beverages.

From our first meeting, we knew we would not mind the drive back and forth from Stamford (where Chris lived) to Long Island (where Jacky was finishing up coursework to become a special education teacher). However, quickly following our first date, we were put through the ultimate test - COVID! What could have potentially been a challenge, only proved to bring us closer together. From many afternoons sitting outside in the park to evenings binge-watching Netflix, our love continued to grow.

Our story has grown over the years with a shared love for trips to Hilton Head, the beach, breweries, cooking, and spending time with our families, especially our beloved nieces and nephew.

After making first our home together in Rockville Centre, Chris began to think about the biggest question of them all -how to get Jacky to the beach in December so he could propose in one of her favorite spots, Long Beach. Thankfully, it didn't take too much convincing to get Jacky to the boardwalk on a cold, cloudy, December day before the holidays. While overlooking the ocean, Chris got down on one knee and asked Jacky to marry him! And we've been celebrating since!

We could not be more thrilled for this next chapter of our lives to begin, and can't wait to celebrate with our family and friends on June 21, 2025.
