Jackie and Thomas met the new modern way, online in 2021. What caught Thomas' eye was Jackie's photo of hitting a bullseye in axe throwing which lead to their first date. Thomas happily suggested axe throwing and didn't hold back. Knowing Jackie's competitive side, she wanted to challenge him at bowling. She beat him bad! :D He definitely wanted to see her more after that.

A few more dates later, they found themselves taking their first road trip to Universal Studios Hollywood, eating a giant Lard Lad Donut, drinking butterbeer, and taking photos with Hello Kitty.

A few of their favorite memories together are Comic-cons, late night runs to Dairy Queen, attending concerts, and many trips to Disneyland.

Jackie and Thomas' proposal was intimate and heartfelt. Thomas proposed in front of Jackie's immediate family, with string lighting and a mistletoe hanging above her. There was supposed to be a bonfire in the background and a romantic candlelit dinner, but the weather had other plans. Cloudy and rainy just so happened to be Jackie's favorite weather. Thomas lucked out!
