What is the Dress Code?

Semi-formal attire is requested. For women: cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, or dressy jumpsuits. For men: suits, sport coats, or dress shirts with slacks. Please avoid overly casual clothing such as jeans, t-shirts, athletic wear, or flip-flops.

Are children allowed?

As much as we adore the little ones, we decided to have them stay home for this event so that 'Mom & Dad' can enjoy their night out celebrating the newly weds.

How Can I RSVP?

You can RSVP online using the RSVP section of this website or by returning the RSVP card included with your invitation.

Is there travel required to get from the ceremony to the reception?

Nope! Both the ceremony and the reception will be located on the same property.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is free parking on the property. For those that have difficulty walking or would rather not walk from the parking lot to the ceremony, there will be golf carts available to transport guests from the parking lot to the ceremony area.

What is the weather like in North Carolina in early November? (For out of town guests)

Based on average history, the temperature can range from the 70s during the day and possible mid 50s at night.

Q&A for the Ladies that No One Wants to Ask: After spending most of the day in dress shoes for the ceremony, can I bring a pair of comfortable shoes to wear later in the evening?

Yes, we want our guests to be comfortable, enjoy their time, and have the ability to dance the night away! Therefore, ladies if you'd like to bring an extra pair of shoes (flip flops, slippers with outside soles, etc.) to switch out your heels, you are more than welcome!

Will the ceremony be inside or outside? Will the reception be located inside or outside?

We plan for the ceremony to be outside (weather permitting). If it rains on the day of the wedding, there is a covered area on the property to hold the ceremony. The main reception area will be inside of the barn, but there is an outside patio area as well. The patio area has tables, a full bar, and outside bathrooms available for guests. Guests are welcome to move about the areas as they so please.
