A friend of Sarah's tweeted that she and Sarah needed prom dates. A friend of Jacob's responded to the tweet saying him and Jacob still needed prom dates as well. Jacob then took it upon himself to message Sarah privately to apologize for his friend being "creepy" since neither of the girls knew the guy contacting them about wanting to be prom dates. Ever since then, we have been inseparable! And no, we did not end up going to prom together that year unfortunately, but the following year we did!

We both knew we were each other's forever when we instantly became best friends upon meeting. Clearly, we have known each other for forever! There was a connection that made each of us feel at peace around each other that still resides today.

Jacob proposed to Sarah on September 3rd, 2023 at her house in Allport. We were walking inside the house when Jacob said he could not hold onto the ring any longer (he made it a solid 8 hours after receiving it). He said he felt it was the perfect spot in Sarah's garage for that is where he asked her to be his girlfriend way back in 2016.
