Jake and Megans love story is one filled with serendipity, family ties, and the magic of shared experiences. From the casual introductions at family gatherings to the unforgettable fishing trip that sparked their romance, their journey together has been nothing short of a dream come true for both of them.

Their story began in 2020 when Jake’s friend, Mark, who happens to be Megan’s stepdad introduced them at family get-togethers. Both busy with their own lives, they would see each other in passing, but it was never more than a casual hey. Megan’s mom and Mark kept mentioning that Jake was the right guy for her so she decided to reach out and set up a date. They planned a fishing trip for the following weekend and it became very clear that there was a definite attraction and both were smitten right away.

Fast forward a few months, they exchanged “I love yous” and became inseparable.Through the years, they have enjoyed many fun activities together with Megans son, Myles, including Disney trips, rodeos, family vacations, and beach days. They both knew that they wanted to create their own happy family.
When Jake decided to take the next step and propose to Megan, he chose a setting as breathtaking as their love: the tranquil waters of the Florida Keys, with the iconic 7 Mile Bridge as a backdrop. With Myles by his side, Jake asked, and of course, Megan said yes!
