When we met, we were stuck next to each other in our high school home ec. class our freshman and sophomore years. We were just friends, and nothing more—that year we entered a pie-making contest. We made a Dutch Apple Pie together and did not win, but now we make it every year for our anniversary.

We began dating the following year, our now sophomore and junior year of high school, on October 28th, 2015. From football games to prom, if you found one of us, you were stuck with both of us. We spent the next 3 years going to all sporting events (as an excuse to see each other) and double dating for more time together. We bonded with each other's friends and families and even made some wonderful friends together while navigating this long-term relationship so young.

We then got to celebrate amazing milestones together! High school graduation, college, college graduation, getting our first house, then a puppy, and now we can say we are ready to spend eternity together.
